There is an unusual chain of pubs and hotels located throughout Oregon and Washington.  They are owned by the McMenamins Group.  One of these, the Kennedy School is a brew pub that brews its own beer, a movie theater and Inn all in one.   You can check the website for locations and showtimes.

Cooky Parker runs some local soul parties like the Cookie Jar.

Humdinger Drive in-8250 SW Barbur Blvd , 10 am to 9 pm. The kind of joint this place exists for.   Only problems, the fries are crinkle cut and the onion rings are tempura style and a little oily.
