Every Year in ND is the Norsk Hostfest,  North America’s largest Scandinavian festival

North Dakota has a regional soup similar to chicken and dumplings called KNOEPHLA.  Available at the regional chain Krolls Diner and other places.

Fargo, ND

Winter in Fargo starts around September and Ends in May, so bring a jacket.  Moorhead is the sister city of Fargo across the river.

Historic Kegs Drive-In-The Kegs is a historic drive-in shaped like two large wooden barrels. The barrel structures were originally built in 1935 as part of a chain of seven walk-up root beer stands called The Barrel. Tourist Attraction-

Salem Sue is a large fiberglass holstein cow sculpture located in New Salem, North Dakota. The statue stands 38 feet high and is 50 feet long. It sits on School Hill near Interstate 94 off exit 127 S and can be viewed for several miles
